Wednesdays on the Stoop: Jacqueline Goldfinger

Wednesdays On the Stoop, a series of free programming by Zoom every Wednesday from 4 pm - 5 pm. The sessions are designed to be a constant structure--every Wednesday at 4 you can count on Blue Stoop to plug you into your writing energy with an informal and supportive space.

Getting Unstuck with Friends at Blue Stoop

On New Year's, we often make writing resolutions for the year. But by the end of February, we've lost motivation or hit writer's block. Spend an hour sharing and discussing strategies to get unstuck. Goldfinger will offer her thoughts and advice from both her own practice, and from practices she's learned from colleagues. Participants will also be welcome to share their own tips and tricks to get themselves writing.

Jacqueline Goldfinger (she/they) grew up in rural North Florida with a love of music and storytelling. She is a playwright, dramaturg, educator, and librettist. She is a Co-Founding Partner of Moving Arts Consulting, and an Affiliated Artist at New Georges, National New Play Network, and The Lark Playwrights Center. She won the Yale Drama Prize, Smith Prize, Generations Award, Brown Martin Award, Barrymore Award, OPERA America Discovery Award (with Composer Melissa Dunphy), and Philadelphia Critics Award. Her plays have been on The Kilroy’s List. She's been nominated for the Weissberger Award, Blackburn Prize, Tait Black Prize, and Foote Prize. Bottle Fly was a finalist at the International Book Awards.
