Thursdays on the Stoop--Tarot Writing Prompts w/ Gina Tomaine

In this session, we'll pull several cards and use them as writing inspiration to create drafts in class. These writing prompts will be applicable to all genres—you can journal and reflect, write them into a poem (or the beginnings of one), use them for inspiration for your short story, or perhaps glean some insight for a novel or longer project you're working on.

Gina Tomaine is a Philadelphia-based writer and editor. She is the author of the Guidebook for the Philly Tarot Deck and a student and practitioner of intuitive tarot. Her work has appeared in outlets like The Cut, VICE, Cosmopolitan, Painted Bride Quarterly, Philadelphia magazine, and The Boston Globe. She lives in a 102-year old rowhome with her husband and her black cat, Salem. She is currently at work on a young adult novel.
