Kristen Arnett is the queer author of With Teeth: A Novel (Riverhead Books, 2021) which was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in fiction and the New York Times bestselling debut novel Mostly Dead Things (Tin House, 2019). Her next novel, STOP ME IF YOU’VE HEARD THIS ONE, about a lesbian birthday party clown, will be published by Riverhead Books (Spring 2025).

Julian Shendelman lives with his husband and dogs near Philadelphia. His poetry chapbook, Dead Dad Club, was published by Nomadic Press in 2017, his short-form prose has appeared in Philadelphia Stories and Cleaver Magazine, and his collaborative novella, Spark Bird, was recently published by Thirty West. He is currently working on a full-length novel about haunted houses, capitalism, and community. Julian is the co-director of Blue Stoop.
